Age 13, 1948 - In the second Durango Kid movie, Tommy was the army general's son. Tommy ended up saving the whole out post from what would have been a disasterous Indian attack. That was way, way too much fun for Tommy!

  
 

 
   

After Tommy saved the fort (and everyones lives) the movie finished with a happy ending, as usual for the day.

 

note - for Tommy, looking back, it was a western movies version
